Discovering Life's Purpose

1. THE TRUTH ABOUT GOD

God created us in order that we would experience our greatest joy in knowing Him.

“In Your presence is abundant joy” (Psalm 16:11)

2. THE TRUTH ABOUT SIN

But people are sinful and separated from God, unable to truly know Him

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23)

3. THE ONLY SOLUTION

Jesus Christ provides the only solution to our sin problem. On the cross, Jesus became the substitute for sinners and bore the punishment their sins deserve. On the third day, He rose from the dead in order that we might be made right with God, escape condemnation, and experience eternal life.

“This saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance: “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” (1 Timothy 1:15)

4. THE NEXT STEP

God calls all people everywhere to change their attitude toward Him and toward their own sin. He calls them to trust Jesus Christ alone to deliver them from their sin and connect them to God. Only by knowing and serving God through Jesus Christ can we find the true joy that we all long for.

“Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved” (Acts 16:31)
